Ponmudi is the beautiful and probably the most peaceful hill station of Kerala, is located at a distance of about 58 km from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. The nearest airport and railway station to Ponmudi are at Trivandrum 61 km away. It is easily accessible by road buses and private taxis from most of the cities of Kerala. Private taxis and auto rickshaws are available for local travel.
