With almost 1,000 kilometers of coast line to boast about, many of the more scenic beaches can be found in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This state offers some of the most beautiful landscapes that one can find in India located throughout its 23 districts. With clear blue waters and beautiful white sands between the toes, you will find many great beaches in Andhra Pradesh.

Bheemunipatnam Beach

Of all the beaches in India, one has continuously been dubbed the safest beach and because of that you can also find one of the finest beach resorts along its shores. This beach is none other than Bheemunipatnam Beach. With beautiful white sand at the feet and a view that is only refined by the natural beauty of the surrounding shoreline and blue waters, you can sit back, relax and enjoy yourself completely.

Ramakrishna Beach

Nearby the bustling city of Vishakhaptnam, you can find the calm waters of Lawson’s Bay more than welcoming. Along the shores of Lawson’s Bay can be found the Ramakrishna Beach which is a long beach situated on the serene and placid waters of the bay. The peacefulness of the beach and its location near a busy city makes it a great choice for someone who would also like to take in some local shopping.

Manginapudi Beach

As a historic port in India, the Manginapudi Beach is not only old but also boasts some of the most amazing surrounding landscapes that one can find in the state of Andhra Pradesh. With its culture as well as its higher number of health resorts, one can definitely take in the scenery and relax all at the same time.

Mypad Beach

The Nellore district is one of the 8 districts in Andhra Pradesh which makes contact with the water and along its shorelines you can find the picturesque Mypad Beach. This is definitely a beach left here for beach lovers with its long stretches that allow you to not only take an invigorating stroll along the water’s edge, but also take in the natural green scenery along the coastline.

Rishikonda Beach

Just outside of Vizag, one can find the beach that is built for water sports. Rishikonda Beach is well known in the area as being a place for water sports and it is not uncommon to find water skiers as well as windsurfers taking advantage of the calm waters just off shore.

The most tranquil beach in Andhra Pradesh has got to be Vodarevu. Many tourist find there way to this beach as a means of spending a weekend away from the beaches in front of the resorts.
