Gaganachukki Falls and Bharachukki Falls are the twins. People often got confused about both the falls. Bharachukki falls are situated in the far south-west from the Gaganachukki Falls. The distance between them is quite far and this division is due to the river Kaveri. It is a well-known river that splits the twin falls into eastern and western branches. The eastern branch is the Bharachukki falls whereas the western branch is the Gaganachukki Falls. The view of Gaganachukki Falls is just fabulous. You can also reach the Gaganachukki waterfalls from the other way that is through the Darga Hazrath Mardane Gaib. Although warnings are putted up on boards but still people love to climb the rocks to get the view of the waterfall from the top or behind. This results in accidents. From the city of Bangalore this place is situated at a distance of 139 km.
