Honeymoon tour in South India

Honeymoon is that time of the year when two souls meet together and understand each other in a better way. This is a period to have fun, enjoy and get used to each other. Chennai is a destination that gives you all in its entirety. Apart from being, the industrial and economic hub, the place boasts of several sightseeing destinations for the honeymoon couple. This 11 nights and 12 days tour will delight the tourists in a different way.

Day 1, 2,3-Coimbatore-Ooty 3 nights

The distance between Coimbatore to Ooty is 85.3 km and it takes around 2 hours 58 minutes to reach from Coimbatore to Ooty.   ‘After spending some time in Coimbatore, we will transport you to nature’s paradise Ooty originally occupied by a tribal land Todas along with the other tribes. This Nilgiri territory came into possession of the East India Company in 1799 and served as the summer capital of Madras Presidency and other small kingdoms during the time of British in the colonial era. The stunning picturesque beauty of this place combined with verdant green landscape has titled it with the name of Queen of Hill Station and later it developed into a town.

Day 1- Ooty-Wenlock downs-Pykara-ooty Lake was built during 1824 AD and it covers an area of 65 acres with an average depth of 40 feet. Earlier the lake was used for fishing and for ferries and gradually it shrunk from its original size thus giving a place to bus stand, race course and lake park, then our representative will showcase you the pine forest of Ooty, after that we will head towards the spectacular meadow Wenlock Down and then we would cover Pykara waterfalls and Pykara Dam and Reservoir.

Day 2- Ooty- Ketti- Doddabetta- On day 2 we will head you towards the rose gardens and other botanical gardens of Ooty,

Day 03- We will head you towards tea factory and museum which is spread across 1839 metre and is covered with emerald green tea plants. The visitors can come here and see the entire processing of freshly plucked tea plants and packages. It also has tea museum where the visitor can learn about the different varieties of tea that are present across the globe. After that we will head you towards the Doddabetta Tea factory which also offers astounding views of the beautiful valleys and the peaks surrounding it.

After a brief visit to his historically beautiful town, our representative will take you back to the hotel, where you can enjoy your leisure time.

Day 04,5,6- Kodaikanal

The distance from Ooty to Kodaikanal is 250.1 km and it takes 6 hours 26 minutes to reach there. Kodaikanal is famous for its scenic beauty.  The destination has several places to visit and is often referred to as the Princess of Hill stations and is one of the popular places to visit during the summer season.  Though the place is not extensively commercialized as Ooty it offers the tourists a pleasant experience and has a less crowd as compared to other destinations.

Day 4- a visit to lake and parks– It famous tourist destinations include Kodai Lake, Bryant Park, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade, etc. The hills offer stunning views and the visitors will get amused by its beauty.

Day 05-visit to pillar rock, silver cascade and Guna cave- Pillar rock is a beautiful garden that offers a stunning view to the visitors, the silver cascade is a beautiful waterfall and is a great place for bathing, Guna cave is a nature’s paradise and is a popular tourist destination.
