Yes, here we are talking about no one other than The Sanjay Gandhi National Park, which is also called as Borivali National Park. It is one of the most unique wildlife sanctuaries in the world and that is because it has enough of spots that will make you fall in love with Mumbai. Kanheri Caves-A shuttle bus normally runs after every 20 mins from Kanheri caves from the entrance of the park. The bus normal fare is Rs 33 per person for one person and Rs 66 for two persons. But their schedule, at times can be bit erratic. However, the private vans are available and they can ferry you to the caves directly. The last shuttle bus leaves the caves at around 1.30 p.m and the last bus from the caves to the park entrance leaves at around 4 p.m.
Boating– Boating timings start from 9 a.m to 12.30 p.m and 1.30 p.m to 5 p.m. A paddle boat costs arous Rs 68 for 20 minutes and the boat of 4 charges you Rs 68 for 15 minutes ride. The charges are subject to change.
Tiger and Lion Safari- Another thing that you can’t forget to visit is tiger and lion sanctuary. The cost per adult is Rs 55 and for children it is Rs 22. And the timings are from 9 a.m to 12.30 and 2 p.m to 4.30 p.m. Video shooting is allowed with a fee of Rs 1050 per day and the estimated duration is around 15-20 mins.
Vanrani also called as toy train– It is one among favorite for the kids and adults alike. This train runs at regular time period. Time table is available for display. The cost for vanrani for adults is Rs 28 and for children is Rs 22.
