Off- beat destinations in India that are worth visit

All these destinations reflect the mystic and cultural heritage of India. The destination is a potpourri of temples, forts, and caves. A look into these destinations will help us to gain an insight into our rich cultural heritage and be proud of the place where we belong.

Srisailam Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, Kurnool– the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva is known amongst the tourists as a member of one of 18 Maha Sakti Peetha. The temple is located in the Nallamala hills in the Kurnool district on the banks of Krishna river.

Adoni Fort, Kurnool– It is one of the most prominent forts in India. Located in Adoni city of Kurnool district, this fort was once a capital of Vijayanagara kingdom. The fort entails several entrance gates and is encompassed by seven huge granite hills. The fort is a collection of 12 forts built during that century. There are several places of attractions that lie within the fort premises like Nawab Darbar Hall, Venu Goapala Temple, Shiv Temple, Dargah, and several bodies. Most of the fort seems to be in a dilapidated condition and efforts are required by the government of India to revive it to attract tourists.

Bhangarh Fort-The fort is located near Sariska Tiger Reserve between Jaipur and Alwar. The fort is ornately decorated and is surrounded by the temples that lend an air of peace. The fort would have hot tourist bed and an architectural marvel; if it would not be cursed and today too this place attracts a lot of tourists but all for wrong reasons. Local people believe that no one dares to build the home in the proximity of the fort. The roof collapse after it is built.

Siju Caves, Meghalaya– The place is not fully developed. Hence, it doesn’t have a wide range of hotels or restaurants to satiate your taste buds because still, tourists fear from visiting this place. If you want to stay, you can check in with the guest house provided by the government. The guest house of the tourist department has certain issues like leakage, so we advise you to stay in the forest department guest house. For food, you can either bring here from the market or cook yourself in their kitchen or hire a local for cooking food. The guest house has power outrage issues and the food is cooked using wood and you may have to pay an additional amount to purchase the wood.
