Places to visit in Mussoorie : Mussoorie is a very famous hill station; it is 30 km from Dehradun. It was discovered by Captain Young, he was a military officer. Mussoorie is also known as queen of hills. It is one of the most famous hill stations because of its natural beauty. This is a very good place for tourism, it has a very good climate throughout the year which makes it more attractive. There are many other places which must be visited like Gun hill, Kempty falls, Municipal garden, jharipani falls, Sir George Everest House etc. We can see panoramic view of the Himalayas from Gun hill. Gun hill
Sir George Everest house
It was the laboratory of first surveyor general of India; his name was Sir George Everest. It is also known as the Park Estate. The highest peak of this world, Mount Everest, is also named after him. It gives very charm views; everyone will be amused after this visiting.

It is also one of the main and beautiful waterfalls in Mussoorie. It is situated 8 km away from the main town.

Camel’s Back Road
This name is given to this place because of its life like resemblance because here you can go for long distance on sitting a camel. Apart from this you it is very good for an evening walk and horse riding.

Bhadraj Temple
This temple is dedicated to Lord Bal Bhadra, who is the brother of Lord Krishna. It is 15 km from Mussoorie and it is the perfect spot for trekking via Park Toll Clods and Dudhi. Here you can enjoy the Chakrata ranges and Jaunsar Bawar areas. It is situated in the western region of Mussoorie town.
Cloud End
This is a bungalow which is the oldest building in Mussoorie. This building was converted into a hotel in 1838. It is surrounded by a thick deodar forest which gives it a very charming view.
Jwalaji temple
It is also a very old temple of Goddess Durga, it is situated at an altitude of 2014 meter on the Benong temple. This temple will give you a panoramic view of the Yamuna valley.
