Ratnagiri is a quaint district located in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Basically, it is a port city situated on the Arabian Sea coast. This is one of the most beautiful areas in the Arabian Sea coastal region. This place is as beautiful as its people. The people here are soft spoken, hospitable and easy going. The picturesque of this district is mesmerising and nature lovers are drawn to this beautiful place.  What makes this place the best is hills, deep valleys, paddy fields, etc. There are innumerable beaches to stroll around. Here you can enjoy host of summer fruits like Kiwi, mango, jackfruit, cashew nuts, mango, etc.  There is a regional delicacy here Konkani food, made from coconut and fish. Further, this place house lot of wild life, vegetation and birds.

Aare Beach

It is one of the untouched areas of the Konkan region. This place is 15 kms away from Ratnagiri district towards Ganapatipule via Nevare village. This is a long beach length is approx. 3 kms. It is the vest picnic spot for one day outing. Desirable place that is rich in flora and fauna. Many celebrities own land properties in close proximity to this beach. Certainly this beach is highlight for tourists.

Aquarium

Aquarium fishes are called as living jewels owing to their color, behaviour, shape and origin. They are available in variety of colors and are capable of living in confined water. With the growing interest of people in this specimen, aquarium culture has become a huge business. This place is maintaining its own rare aquarium that have some rare and beautiful fish specimen like sea horse fish, trigger fish, eels, star fish, sea cucumber, lobsters, sea snakes, and much more. Taking into consideration growing needs of general public about aquarium, a beautifully decorated aquarium section has been developed. In this section, along with beautiful and fancy colored fish, one can view freshwater aquatic species like crabs, prawns, turtles, and aquatic plants.

Atulit Bal Dham

This is a sacred place. It is managed by Sadguru  Shree Aniruddha Upasana Trust, situated in Mumbai. Located at TRP, near petrol pump, it is around 1 km off to the main road in the Ratnagiri district. Panchamukhi Hanuman is the deity in this sacred Dham that is worshipped. This place experience innumerable devotees because they get incredible power after visiting this Dham. The total area of this Dham is around 2 acres and it is truly a blissful place.
