The town of Sringeri is a popular place in the state of Karnataka in India for travelers to visit and is known to receive tourists at any and every hour of the day. The best time to visit this town is in the season of winter when the weather here is good for the purpose of sightseeing. Sringeri is quite a small town and as such the number of people living in this town is not much. There are a few hundred thousand people living over here and the remainders are generally tourists who have come here for a short while.

There are several interesting sights in the city of Sringeri in Karnataka, the most famous of which is of course the Vidyashankara Temple. The temple is a Hindu temple and can be entered by travelers of different castes and creed. The temple is known to open from the early hours of the morning and also remains open till the late hours of the evening. Ideally a weekday morning is the time when one should pay a visit to this temple as this is the time when there are the least number of tourists and one can engage in peaceful exploration activities at this time of the year.

Sringeri is a place that can be toured around with the use of hired car facilities which are available at all times of the year. These are available for the most affordable of rates and are therefore within the means of most tourists. There are also good accommodation facilities for young and old tourists in the Indian town of Sringeri. There are special accommodation options over here which are available for the women travelers in particular and which is a big help in turn, for the women tourists travelling alone.
