The Pochera Waterfalls

If you ever get the opportunity to visit Andhra Pradesh, you should ensure that you do not miss out the opportunity to visit the Pochera waterfalls. It is basically located at a distance of 50km right from Adilabad, and is a famous tourist spot. Large numbers of people visit here to take a spectacular look of the waterfall. However, it was only in the recent years that the waterfall had been discovered, and slowly it is growing in popularity. The main reason for its growing popularity is the uniqueness and difference from that of other waterfalls in the country.

The Pochera waterfalls are entirely wide and deep, and therefore, the tourists should be very careful while they approach this waterfall. It is a completely natural waterfall and offers amazing spectacular and picturesque views. The location of the waterfall is in the midst of a dense and wide forest, which in turn further increases the exhilarating beauty that is offered to the visitor. In fact, unique and exceptional waterfall offers an amazing treat to large numbers of people and one of such a kind of waterfall is rarely found in India. Moreover, since it is located in the midst of the Sahayadri mountain range, the views become more spectacular.

The waterfall is mainly formed because of the flow of the streams right from River Godavari from a height of about 20 meters. This in turn, leads to the waterfall. Since the water splashes from a great height, the sound is indeed wonderful. When the water touches your feet, you can feel the coldness of the water. The fall of the water at a particular point also forms a pool, and this is also one of the best reasons for the beautiful ambience and serenity of the place. If you get the opportunity to spend hours by the waterfall, it can be an enthralling experience for you.

In the recent days, Pochera waterfalls have become one of the most important points to visit in Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, while you take a look at this waterfall, you should also visit the Kuntala waterfalls which are also located quite close to this waterfall. Thus, both the waterfalls can give you the feel of double adventure and double fun. The idol of Lord Shiva can also be viewed near the waterfall. If you can watch the sunset at Pochera, nothing can be better than this, because you will simply be thrilled.
