Agra

It is very famous and must visit city. Here you will find the world famous Taj Mahal. This city is made on Mughal architecture; here you will find Mughal period history. Agra is the most visited city in India after Delhi. It has interesting stories of Taj Mahal when it was getting built. Apart from Taj Mahal, it has forts which were built by Emperor Akbar on the banks of the River Yamuna, Sikandra, the Itmad-ud-Daulah.

Jaipur

It is the capital of the North Indian state of Rajasthan; it is named after its founder Maharaja Jai Singh. This city is also called pink city because the houses on walled street are pink in color. This city is very well planned city and it was designed by an engineer Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, this whole city was according to vastu which is a Shilpa Shasta architecture technique. Jaipur is surrounded by a wall which is having seven gates and it was built for protection from invading armies and wild animals. This is a very amazing city; the arts and crafts of this city are worth watching. Here you can buy fashion Jewelry, multi colored bandhini, traditional costumes etc. In Jaipur you will find many other places to visit like Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh fort, Jaigarh fort, Amber Fort and Albert Hall.

Pushkar

This is a small town in Rajasthan; it is a place where you will find great religious importance for the Hindus. In the whole India, only Pushkar has the statue of Lord Brahma. It named Pushkar because Lord Brahma threw the Pushpa (flower) with his Kar (hand), so this place is called Pushkar. In this city you will find about 400 temples and no vehicle traffic on the main street. This city is also famous for camel fair which is organized in the month of October to November; in this festival you will find thousands of tourists from across the globe.

Delhi

This is the capital of India and it is a city in which you will find the combination of ancient and the modern technique. When you visit this city, you get to know the legacy of the British rule that left it behind. There is a division here between walled city and New Delhi; here you will find different lifestyles. The walled city is full of traditions; on the other hand, New Delhi is living international standards. It is also a great shopping destination where you can find everything. The other places in Delhi which should be visited are the Jantar Mantar, the Qutub Minar, the Humayun’s Tomb, the Bahai temple, India Gate, Raj Ghat.

Shimla

It is the capital of North Indian State of Himachal Pradesh; it is located at an altitude of 6500 feet above sea level. It is named after the Goddess Shamla Devi, a manifestation of Kali. It was discovered by the British in 1819. This place became one of the favorite hill stations at the end of 1830. In Shimla you will find same climate throughout the year, so it makes this hill station a year round destination. Now it has all the facilities like railway line, air facility by which you can reach here easily.
