Kerala is a heavenly paradise and is a most sought after destination among travelers. This place is not only appealing, but also gives rejuvenating experience. Here are some must visit destinations that attract tourist’s interests:

 

Cochin- Cochin is a modified name of the word Cochazhi, which means a small sea. The major part of the city lies at the sea level. The coastline is around 48 kilometers. The place is spread across an area of 94.88 square kilometers and it is considered as the second largest city of Kerala.  This place attracts tourists around the world. It is eminent for several places like Fort Kochi, Balghatty Palace and backwaters. The city is strongly inclined towards arts and tourists can visit various places in Kerala like the Kerala Folklore Theatre. Here people can watch shows or even spend some leisurely time at museum. The place is eminent for its Ayurvedic centers and here tourists can indulge in spa treatments also.

 

In the evening tourists can visit local flea markets and explore range of shopping options available to them.After having breakfast, you can proceed to sight-seeing tour. The tour entails places like Fort Kochi that covers places like Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis church and chance to view Chinese fishing nets. In afternoon, you can proceed to Munnar. It is a beautiful hill station. Om yje way you can visit some good restaurant and enjoy sumptuous lunch. Once you arrive at Munnar, check into the hotel and spend some time at leisure. You may visit local market in the evening and buy aromatic tea from local vendors. After having dinner, head towards comfortable night stay at hotel.

After having breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Tata Tea Museum and explore the serenity of Munnar-The place eminent for tea plantations. The place remains closed on Monday. Aside from that, you can even visit Eravikulam National Park to have a view of flora and fauna. In the evening, return to the hotel, take rest an in the evening, spend time in leisure.

After having breakfast in early morning, check out from the hotel and gear towards Thekkady. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, tourist can proceed for a boat cruise to Periyar Lake in Thekkady, a soul stimulating tour. The place is synonym for wildlife and nature trek.

In the evening, go to the theater and enjoy traditional Kalari show. Do indulge in shopping and elephant ride in the evening.  Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner.

After doing an early breakfast get out from the hotel in Thekkady and go for a Spice plantation tour that will last for an hour. Indulge in some spice shopping too. There is innumerable kind of spices cultivated in Thekkady. The most abundantly found spice is pepper. But there is variety of other spices like clove, cinnamon and curry leaves.  Enjoy overnight stay at Houseboat.
